Your work environment: Following the promotion of the current incumbent, we are looking for a Key Accounts Director. The position is based in Zug (Switzerland) and reports to the Vice-President Commercial Europe.

Within the Principal’s policies and instructions, the successful job holder will develop, implement and control the business strategies and activities with Key Accounts: sales activity to achieve volume and profit targets set by the business President. The successful candidate will have direct involvement with customers during negotiations and will prepare the relevant Sales team for negotiations.

Your mission in Crown:

• Responsible for managing and expanding Crown’s key customer relationships, leading commercial negotiations and securing long-term partnerships that align customer satisfaction with Crown’s profitability goals.
• Monitor customer performance, forecast accuracy and profitability, ensuring commercial targets are met.
• Acts as the strategic link between customer needs and internal stakeholders, driving the commercial strategy, to meet revenue and profit targets.
• Accountable for delivering the commercial budget.

About you:

To be considered a suitable candidate, you will have an appropriate Master’s degree and/or MBA, with a minimum of 10 years’ post university commercial experience ideally acquired in the industry. You are able to develop a strategy/vision and deliver the key messages to the commercial teams. You possess excellent interpersonal skills, with outstanding negotiation, persuasion and selling skills. You are recognised as a coach, with strong leadership and listening skills. You have the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.

This role demands a high level of financial understanding. The successful candidate will be expected to interpret and act on complex financial data, including customer profitability, pricing structures and margin analysis. Suitable candidates must therefore demonstrate strong analytical skills, a solid grasp of commercial finance and the ability to collaborate effectively with finance teams to ensure alignment with budgetary and profitability goals. Experience with forecasting, hedging and contract terms is highly desirable.

A self-starter, you will be ‘stress-proof’ and capable of working to tight deadlines. You are willing to travel frequently, sometimes at short notice. While fluency in English is a requirement, the ability to speak other languages would be advantageous.
