About this opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Coordinator Germany to join our corporate Sales team at Crown. This role will be based at our EMEA HQ in Zug, Switzerland.
The purpose of the role is to provide world class customer service, ensuring orders are fulfilled in line with Crown’s commitments, SOX controls, and group and company policies.
Main Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with customers on a daily basis
- Receive customer orders, ATMs (Authority to Manufacture), enter sales orders and maintain the pricing module on our system (SAP)
- Liaise with customers to validate short term demand plan
- Monitor and track transport to ensure customers are delivered to on time
- Provide product status information to customers E.g. on order, in process, in stock, in transit
- Monitor the logistics path of stock (slow and non-moving stocks) until delivery to customer filling lines
- Ensure documentation and stocks reported to customers are correct
- Organize and follow export flows
- Ensure that the financial handling of deliveries is within specified credit limits
- Liaise with Finance on invoicing matters and resolve all sales invoice queries
- Ensure that standing data is maintained by customer and location
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain department on material supply and product delivery
- Implement and maintain administrative controls that support the successful completion of tasks
Required Education and Experience
- Degree qualified in Business Administration or another relevant subject
- Experience in a Sales / Commercial function and / or a Supply Chain function
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience overall
- Experience in a manufacturing company would be beneficial
Required Skills and Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (ideally SAP)
- Effective communication skills across all levels, both internally and externally
- Strong administrative skills including good planning and organizational skills
- Team player
- Stress-proof, able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Customer-oriented with a flexible approach in your dealings
- Being fluent in German (ideally native speaker level) with excellent English language skills is essential, other languages will be beneficial
