We have a new vacancy based at Mec-A-Tec for a Commercial Manager
Your mission in CMbE
The Commercial Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting our business both internally and externally. This role focuses on driving commercial success while contributing to the design and innovation of our world-class beverage can handling systems. The successful candidate will work closely with project engineers and customers to deliver optimised, cost-effective solutions that set us apart from the competition.
About you
The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of five years’ experience in a design, commercial, or technical role, with a strong foundation in engineering design principles related to material handling equipment. An in-depth understanding of can handling systems and material handling equipment is essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in CAD software, including SolidWorks, as well as Microsoft Excel. A minimum of two years in a commercial role is required, along with proven ability to lead and maintain commercial processes that ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability.
Candidates must hold a minimum of a HNC in mechanical engineering. We are looking for a lateral thinker with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating complexity, inspiring others, and embracing ambiguity while maintaining clear and effective communication. A customer-centric mindset is key, as is the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
