We currently have a vacancy for a Plant Buyer, based in Sagunto (Valencia, Spain).

Mission:

The role reports directly to Logistics Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising the adequacy of the minimum necessary levels of materials procurement which guarantees the correct performance of the plants through an efficient management of their provisioning.

 Main responsibilities:

• Making sure that the stock of materials (machinery, raw materials, working tools…) available is not below the set “minimum stock levels”
• Manage purchase orders to ensure the correct supply of warehouses, auxiliary materials, chemical products, services, supplies and other necessary material by supervising the documentation inherent in order orders and inventory management
• Supervise proper compliance with delivery deadlines and availability of stock requested from suppliers, proceeding to claim them in cases of non-compliance or rescheduling the agreed delivery dates
• Supervise that the invoicing received by the suppliers coincides with the orders placed
• Monthly report and control of delayed/open orders as well as internal audits and SOX controls
• Promote continuous improvement in the development of internal procedures
• Update and maintain supplier’s database

 Job Requirements:

You have a Degree in Business or a Higher Degree Professional Training Administrative Branch with notions of logistics and with a minimum experience of 1 year in supply and inventory management or in a purchasing department, preferably in the industrial sector.

 If you are fluent in English, have a good knowledge of systems and meet the above requirements than this is the role for you.
