About this opportunity

CROWN now has an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join us as a Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager, reporting to the Plant Manager and based in El Agba - Denden, Tunisia. This is a plant producing Aluminium Beverage cans and operating 24/7.

Your mission in CROWN
Ensure that the plant is in a safety environment continually meets customer needs and improves performance with regards to product quality, cost effectiveness and delivery.
Ensure compliance to all Business Management Systems in the plant according to CROWN standards.
Manage and develop continuous improvement activity and ensure that the plant is aligned with the WFoE goals and objectives.

 

Main Responsibilities
•    Develop Quality Systems to meet plant operation and divisional strategic objectives, including gauging and measurement.
•    Develop Plant Strategic Plan, alongside Production and Engineering departments to meet the required business objectives.
•    Develop Supplier Quality Assurance Systems to comply with customer and business objectives.
•    Drive Quality Improvements using Process Control and Quality Management System.
•    Ensure that all critical process control parameters are maintained within specification, and that all appropriate actions are taken to supply a good quality of finished product to the customer.
•    Prepare Trials reports, evaluation of the existing products quality in accordance with standard specifications and implement procedures control.
•    Embed the continuous improvement culture at all levels to ensure WFoE is the way we all do things
•    Lead and shape all levels of the continuous improvement activities.
•    Coordinate all continuous improvement activities in the plant.
•    Support the leadership team to monitor and improve manufacturing performance and lead cost reduction activities.
•    Support the leadership team in developing WFoE Roadmaps and ensure these are aligned with each other and aligned with the division plan.

 

Required Education And Qualifications
•    Industrial Engineer or equivalent

 

Required Knowledge And Experience
•    Minimum 5 years Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager experience, in the Manufacturing Industry
•    Strong knowledge of Quality and Food Safety Standards (ISO 9001, BRC, FSSC 22000 or equivalent)
•    Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems
•    Strong knowledge of the Lean Manufacturing best practices and Lean Six Sigma

 

Required Skills And Competencies
•    People Management skills
•    Effective Decision Making / Problem Solving Skills
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•    Self-motivated and enthusiastic toward Quality and Continuous Improvement
•    Proficient user of Office tools, with knowledge of Power BI being a plus.
•    Fluent in English is mandatory.
