About this opportunity

 CarnaudMetalbox Engineering are recruiting for a Stores Operative to join our Stores team based at our site in Shipley,  West Yorkshire. 

Your mission : Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for a range of general warehouse duties, including goods receiving, internal transport, picking and kitting, amongst other things. You will keep a tidy and safe working environment, following the company EHS practices. 

About you : The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Stores environment and will be proficient on AWMS/IBS and JDE. A good understanding of computers and basic software, such as Microsoft office will be required. In-date Aisle Master/Bendi and counterbalance FLT licences would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills to communicate with the Stores team and wider departments. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when problem solving.

Knowledge & Experience 

Ideal candidates will have experience of, or a willingness to learn, basic Windows Microsoft functions, goods receiving and data entry systems - especially JDE/IBS.  With Aisle Master/Bendi and counterbalance FLT licenses, you will have proven experience of operating Manual Handling Equipment (MHE). 

Hours of work

37.5 hours Monday to Friday with available shift below:

Day shift 7.30 am to 16.15 pm or Night Shift - Monday to Thursday from 21:00 pm to 7:00 am.
