Production Scheduling Coodinator

About this opportunity

The role

Based at Dockfield Road, Shipley, reporting to the Logistics Coordinator/Team Leader. We are looking to recruit an Production Scheduling Co-ordinator to join the team. 
 

The Candidate

As an ideal candidate you will have knowledge of MRP2 systems, bills of materials, routings, part types, purchase order and sales orders preferably having worked in a scheduling support or transactional background.

You will be professional in your approach, organised and capable of prioritising your own workload.  In addition, you will have a flexible style and skilful in communicating appropriately and confidently with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Role Criteria

Your primary responsibilities will involve extensive liaison with key departments such as Sales, during the quote phase, providing lead time estimates.  Engineering ensuring target issue dates, checking data integrity of part set up.  Production Engineering to action make/buy decisions in time, and produce routings for make parts to enable production works orders to be started on time.  Finance to perform standard cost build ups on make parts to enable production works orders to be raised.

Essential Knowledge & Skills

You will have an organised approach and a 'can-do' attitude necessary to demonstrate enthusiasm to enable you to communicate effectively whilst working to tight deadlines.    Efficiency and accuracy of using a MRP2 preferred however training will be given.  Competency in Microsoft Office software applications is essential. (Excel / Word / Outlook).

Package and further details

Starting Grade C8 which equates to £27,218 – C10 £30,312 depending upon experience.
Bonus and pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays.
37.5 hours per week on days.
