About this opportunity
We have a new vacancy for a Despatch Administrator based at our Shipley site.
Your mission in CMbE
Reporting to the Team Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing export documentation, liaising with freight companies to arrange collections, dates and methods, and preparing waybills. The ideal candidate will use the in house system to handle customer queries and investigate complaints in a timely manner. The successful candidate will use the company ERP/PLM system to generate shipping documents and update customers on the shipping of their orders. Additionally, the candidate will use the imports system to log relevant data and provide import clearance instructions to customers and carriers.
About you
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good communication and administration skills to communicate with the Despatch team, wider departments, couriers and external customers. The candidate should be able to use their problem solving skills to resolve customer queries, missing parts and packages stuck in customs. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years in administrative duties and responsibilites, similar experience in a Manufacturing Despatch environment is desirable but not essential. Knowledge of import/export processes, including customs formalities, as well as an understanding of incoterms would be advantageous.
