About this opportunity
We are looking to recruit a Customer Service Executive, predominantly based at our Head Office in Shipley.
Your mission in CMbE
The is an exciting opportunity to help grow Spares Sales Revenues/Margin as well as collaborating in strategy development for growing new revenue streams whilst at the same time working to drive high levels of customer service.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this key customer facing role will be essential to the future successes of the companies Spares Sales Department
The role will typically involve the following;
- Use Data Analysis and KPI’s to develop targeted spares sales strategies
- Set up/participate in commercial reviews with Key Customers (online and through regular customer visits – predominantly Overseas)
- Develop, build relationships and maintain regular contact with customers (existing and new)
- Identify commercial opportunities
- Establish/Develop external communication tools
- Assist the Commercial Manager as and where necessary with other duties such as departmental management and Business Development
- Preparing quotations, proposals and reports
The candidate should ideally have experience of working within a Spares/Sales related commercial role, dealing with customers at all levels on an internationally basis (with previous experience of international travel being an advantage).
The ideal candidate will have an exceptional commercial awareness, be able to communicate effectively at all levels, be comfortable presenting/leading the narrative in cross cultural meetings as well as having a proven track record of being flexible and comfortable with ambiguity.
The candidate should have extensive knowledge of MS Office products (especially Word, Excel and Power Point) as well as other PLM/ERP/MRP systems such as ARAS, JDE and IBS. Being an intuitive thinker with a creative mindset is a must.
About you
The successful candidate will ideally be qualified to at least a UK Level 4 qualification (or equivalent), preferably in a commercial/business discipline.
As this role will involve international travel, it is important that the successful candidate can seamlessly work independently on their own as well as part of a team.
The ability to speak another language fluently would also be an advantage.
