About this opportunity

Your work environment: We now have a vacancy for a Warehouse, Stores and Shipping Supervisor, based at our Beverage plant in Sevilla (Spain). The role reports to the plant Logistics Manager and functionally to the Supply Chain Manager Spain.

Your mission in Crown

The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring daily the Sevilla warehouse and supervising the load and transport or our packaging to ensure customers are delivered on time.

Following Company’s Management Systems, policies and procedures, you will:

  • Effectively manage the stocks and continuously improve all aspects of the stores, warehousing and distribution function in alignment with plant and business objectives.
  • Manage inventory of materials, parts and finished product to maintain required supply.
  • Supervise the information logging of material movements to provide fast and accurate data for cost accounting.
  • Ensure stocks reported to customers are correct with deliveries FIFO.
  • In cooperation with the plant buyer, ensure that all materials and parts are available on time with appropriate quantity and quality
  • Follow transport from Sevilla plant with hauliers and loading subcontractor to ensure deliveries are done on time and analyse NOTIF.
  • Maintain records, replenish stock and plan for future requirements based on orders, production schedules and forecasts.
  • Follow the packaging sorting activity.
  • Manage returnable and non-returnable packaging material flow and in-house sorting activities and inventories.
  • Control the correct receipt of customer returns and incidents detected.
  • Ensure delivery notes and documentation issued are correct
  • Follow packaging returns from Customers
  • Organize and follow export flows and prepare export documentation when require
  • Manage, lead and develop the workforce engaged in handling the goods to be shipped, received or sorted. With a safety mind set, ensure that all Company EHS, fire prevention, food safety related regulations are known and strictly followed by the people under your supervision.

 

About you

The successful candidate has preferably an Industrial Engineering background, with at least 5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain role in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the packaging or FMCG sector and a demonstrated experience of structuring and leading/coaching teams. IT literate, you have a working experience in using ERP systems (i.e. SAP).

You should have a sound knowledge of logistics activities connected with production, warehousing and materials planning, combined with continuous improvement tools and problem-solving and decision-making skills. Self-starter, strong leadership and team working skills are essential as well as the ability to drive change through others. You should be an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Besides Spanish, fluency in English required.
