We are looking for Returnable Packaging Sorters to come and join our team!

This is a shift based role, where you will work on a 4 on 4 off rotational basis, working both days and nights.

Your mission in Crown

You will work in a shift team of three to sort, check and process returned packaging to our process. You will be responsible for conducting quality inspections, and to ensure that our systems remains updated in real time with the work that you complete. You will also complete simple repair tasks to pallet frames, involving the use of hand tools (hammer and pliers).

You will perform used packaging receipts and ensure that the appropriate evidence is collected and documented so that our customers have full transparency and visibility of the status of the packaging.

About you

You will be self motivated and can work quickly to defined targets, while having a keen eye for quality. Having previously worked in a manufacturing or logistics background, you will have a basic qualification in Maths and English and be familiar of working with computer recording systems. You will be familiar with using electrical stacker units and hand pallet trucks and already have a Forklift Truck licence. You will be comfortable to complete repetitive tasks in line with determined SOPs, however have the ability to think for yourself to resolve and potential issues within the area.
