Shift Pattern

You will work on a Continental Based Shift Rota, attending 2 x 12-hour days followed by 2 x 12-hour nights, then 4 days off. After a pattern of five of these shifts you have 14 days off and we also give you 18 days off in the summer.

This equates to 144 rostered shifts per year and an outstanding work/life balance!

Main Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Shift Production and Engineering teams to ensure that the product we make is in line with customer expectations
• Conduct regular quality checks and verify processes
• Help to ensure that every can that leaves our site meets our customer needs
• Support the team to conduct customer audit processes, including traceability exercises and internal audits
• Show a strong customer focus
• Work flexibly in any work area as far as safety and capability allow

Required Education and Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline  

Required Knowledge and Experience

• A proven quality background
• Experience of working in a high-speed production environment
• In-depth knowledge of ISO standards, SPC (Statistical Process Controls), HACCP (Hazard Analysis, Critical Control Point) and Continuous Improvements techniques
