About this opportunity

 

We are looking for a Management Accountant to come and join our team

 

Our finance teams are far from a support service at Crown – they are integral to our success.

We are looking for a Management Accountant who can partner and assist Department Heads to make the best decisions based on financial metrics.

 

Our manufacturing site at Peterborough is still under 2 years old, and therefore given the customer base and the need to establish strong relationships, this role is based on site.

 

Your mission in Crown

  • Working alongside the Plant Controller, you will support operational performance by preparing, developing and analysing key financial information
  • You will partner with department heads to interpret information in a way that they can understand and can use to make sound business decisions
  • You will be responsible for preparing and presenting budget and rolling forecasts
  • You will have a good level of understanding of business operations 
  • You will ensure our financial standards and processes meet internal accounting rules and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

 

About you

  • You will be a part- or fully-qualified accountant with CIMA or ACCA or alternatively you will be qualified by experience 
  • You will have proven experience in manufacturing accounting
  • Ideally you will be proficient in using SAP and will have advanced knowledge of Excel
  • You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to present information to both Finance and Non-Finance Managers
  • You will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail while delivering high-quality work
  • You will thrive on being an active team player
