About this opportunity

The purpose of the Electrical Engineer role is to maintain all electrical equipment, machinery, auxiliary instruments, and gauges, ensuring minimum disruption to production and compliance with safety requirements across the plant. As we have built our factory on a state-of-the-art blueprint, we need people with skills and knowledge to suit and therefore we are specifically looking for Electrical Engineers with experience of Alan Bradley and Seimens control systems. 

Shift Pattern

You will work on a Continental Based Shift Rota, attending 2 x 12-hour days followed by 2 x 12-hour nights, then 4 days off. After a pattern of five of these shifts you have 14 days off . This equates to 144 rostered shifts per year and an outstanding work/life balance!

Salary and Benefits

• A salary of £53,553, including shift premium

• 25 days of holiday plus Bank Holidays (for employees working shifts this is mainly contained in the shift pattern)

Required Education and Qualifications

• Level 3 Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering (with an electrical bias)
• Programming and Fault Finding experience
