We are looking for talented individuals to join our team as Engineering Apprentices!

There is no better place to learn Engineering than within the Manufacturing Industry, and given our factory is less than two years old, you can be assured that you will be surrounded by the latest of technologies to learn from!

We are looking for people who want to embark upon a career in manufacturing, who are keen to work alongside our maintenance teams. Our maintenance teams are responsible for ensuring that the equipment in our factory is running smoothly and effectively. They find and fix faults and they are continuously looking for better and more efficient ways for our equipment to run.

We work alongside Peterborough College, who train you on the basic skills and knowledge you will know to springboard your career in manufacturing. This is a four year apprenticeship, the first three years you will be based both at College and on site putting the skills you learnt into practice. In year 4 your time will be completely on site, building your experience base and assisting our team in our mission to produce quality cans for our customers. At the end of your course, you will receive a L3 Diploma in Advance Manufacturing Engineering.

About you

You will need to have already achieved a Level 4/C GCSE or above grade in Maths and English, or an equivalent qualification. You will also be invited to attend an Engineering Assessment to ensure that you have the best mix of skills and knowledge to make it a success with Crown. If you have not yet sat your GCSEs, please indicate to us your predicted grades and we can hold your offer until you get your formal results.
