Your work environment:

A vacancy has arisen within our plant for a Quality Manager for our new Ends department based at Korinthos (Greece). Reporting to the Plant Manager, you ensure that the highest quality and customer service standards are met and maintained, whilst developing and driving improvements in this area and across the plant.

• The successful candidate will be a member of the Plant Management team and will lead and ensure that the highest quality and customer service standards are met and maintained, whilst developing and driving improvements in this area, across the plant. You ensure a customer-focused, quality mind-set that ensures the delivered quality of finished goods and incoming raw materials whilst developing and driving improvements. You lead Risk Analyses and FMEA covering all the departments to guarantee seamless processes and the highest quality standards. In relation with our Customer Technical Services Manager, you investigate and analyse Customer Complaints, ensuring that effective corrective actions to avoid reoccurrence are taken and communicate back to the customer.

• You lead and develop a team of people to support the organisation and its customers in ensuring only the highest standard of product quality and compliance. You represent / translate the "Voice of the Customer", co-ordinate plant activities prior to customer audits or other major external audits and participate into internal/external supplier or contractor warehouse audits. You organise and manage internal audits for Food Safety System and Standards (ISO9001 and FSSC), ensuring implementation of corrective action plans, across your department

• You drive Quality & Food Safety initiatives and reduction of cost of non-quality through continuous improvement process. You manage Manufacturing Specifications and Raw Materials Specifications, changes and promote and identify internal training required to meet and improve department standards.

About you
The successful candidate will have an Engineering qualification at Diploma or University Degree level (or equivalent) with 5 to 10 years quality management experience, preferably gained within the manufacturing sector. You will also have experience of achieving change in a fast paced, demanding environment and demonstrable results from working within plant management team. You have a sound knowledge of quality standards (ISO, FSSC, AIB, etc). You have pragmatic skills in process capability analysis (Statistical Process Controls) and you are familiar with quality management software. You have experience of auditing and/or managing audit processes. You possess excellent communication, influencing, interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills. We are looking for a team player, with a safety mind-set, with working knowledge of continuous improvement tools, excellent IT skills and a positive mind-set. Besides Greek, you are fluent in English.
