We now have a vacancy for a Maintenance and Engineering Manager, reporting to the Plant Manager, based in Izmit in Turkey. Our factory produces Aluminium Beverage cans and is operating 24/7.

Your mission in Crown:
The successful candidate will be a key player within the Plant Team providing organisational and technical support to the plant, to achieve and improve its engineering and maintenance performance, budget and related KPIs. The main purpose of this position is to lead engineering projects in the plant and to develop and execute plant maintenance plan for our facility, running on 24/7 basis.

With a safety mind-set, you monitor and provide various performance reports related to production and related KPIs, activities and you highlight areas for improvement. You administer and support Crown systems used within the Bevcan operation and you act as a Single Point of Contact for Engineering related activities. With a specific engineering staff working on shifts and on days, you are responsible for leading your team, while managing cost control on repair and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance supervisory or manager roles. .
• Experiences of project management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Excellent budget management and analytical abilities. .
• Effective and systematic problem solving skills.
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analytical thinking, detailed oriented, results focused.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and practices.
• Experience in managing personnel and developing teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management software.
