About this opportunity
We are currently looking to hire a Storekeeper to join our team in Dubai, UAE, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong focus on managing engineering and maintenance inventory. This role is critical to supporting the efficiency of our maintenance and production operations by ensuring the engineering store is well-organized, fully stocked, and accurately maintained at all times.
Main Responsibilities

•Receive, inspect, and store engineering and maintenance items such as motors, bearings, belts, gearboxes, fasteners, and tools.
•Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials in the store management system (ERP or manual logs).
•Coordinate with the maintenance and engineering teams to issue spare parts and tools as required.
•Ensure minimum stock levels of critical spares are maintained at all times.
•Label and store items in an organized and accessible manner using proper bin cards, racks, and coding systems.
•Perform regular stock checks and reconcile physical stock with system data.
•Track usage patterns of fast-moving and high-value items to support proactive reordering.
•Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive or hazardous items like lubricants, adhesives, and cleaning agents.
•Maintain calibration and condition records of tools and measuring instruments.
•Implement and maintain 5S practices and safety standards in the store area.
•Assist in vendor coordination and follow-up for urgent parts or special orders.
Complete allocated jobs to the required standard in a timely manner.
Ensure safe working and good housekeeping practices.  Arrange all materials stocked neatly and in an orderly manner to locate fast.
Complete daily checks on usage and issues to decide reorder and reporting.
Ensure issues of equipment / parts are recorded and either returned or reordered.
Informed Procurement Officer / Engineering Manager of low level / late deliveries of parts.
Raise materials requisitions and obtain approval.
Receive intended materials, record and sign the delivery receipts.
Full understand & implementation of CEC & BRC Systems.
 About you
You should  have a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and experience handling industrial spare parts and consumables.
