About this opportunity

We are looking for an IT Security Lead to work within the European Information Systems and Services department (EISS). This role will be based in Wantage, Oxfordshire. 

The appointed candidate will be responsible for protecting Crown Europe’s IT systems from Cyber security threats by maintaining & developing cyber security solutions, baselines and standards and ensuring that all of Crown’s systems and infrastructure comply with those baselines and standards. They will also need to ensure that investigation and response to security related alerts is performed quickly, efficiently and diligently and ensure compliance with all necessary security related regulations and audit requirements. 

The successful candidate will also work closely with the other IT teams in Crown to ensure a consistent global approach to Cyber Security by developing consistent and common IT security solutions, incident response processes and co-ordinated investigations into IT security incidents, compromises and/or breaches.

They will also be responsible for conducting feasibility studies and making recommendations for improvements to the Crown Cyber Security Strategy and identifying and implementing technologies and trends that will help improve Crown’s IT Security posture.
    
Job requirements:

In order to succeed in this role you will have an IT background with at least five years’ experience working with a Microsoft based IT Infrastructure. Previous experience in a role with IT security related responsibilities would be advantageous.

It is important that the appointed candidate has familiarity with the ITIL framework and an interest in new technologies and how they can be applied. 

You will have a detailed knowledge of IT security solutions, policies and processes as well as a good understanding of IT networking & associated technologies. You will also need to display strong understanding of Microsoft cloud, server and client products and have the ability to coordinate activities across multiple geographies.
