Your work environment : We currently have a vacancy for a Commercial Controller, based at one of our European Bevcan plants at Custines, near Nancy in  France. The role reports to the Finance Manager and is part of the Plant Finance Team (3 people)  and will include France, Germany & Benelux commercial controller responsibility, together with a support to France, Germany and Benelux commercial team and the reporting  of 4 entities (France and Belgium) under the Swiss Principal Business model.

Your mission in Crown

The main responsibilities of the role are:

• To guarantee the accuracy of sales and Cost Of Good Sold (COGS) data for the Sales offices and the Swiss Principal under  the Swiss Principal Business model.
• To liaise with the Commercial Team on sales prices, contracts, rebate accruals and LME reconciliations.
• To liaise with the accounting department to ensure credit limits are respected and payments and overdues are properly followed up
• Month end closing, Rolling Forecasts & Budgets preparation

About you
The successful candidate is a Business Graduate with a specialisation in Accounting/Finance Control. You already have 3 years accounting experience preferably acquired in a manufacturing environment. Data driven, you have a full appreciation of variable, fixed costs and margin analysis. You are experienced in preparing budgets and forecasts, analysing variances against forecasts and report writing for management. You have the ability to communicate at all levels – with good presentation skills. You possess a commercial awareness, with attention to detail, a logical approach with effective decision-making/problem-solving skills. You are an effective team player, able to work under pressure to tight deadlines, with a continuous improvement mind-set.. You are IT literate, with advanced Microsoft Excel (macros) skills and a good working experience of JDE and SAP integrated software. Besides French, fluency in English is essential.
